This Cactus is called the “Queen of the Night,” with buds that infrequently and seemingly randomly grow from some of its thorns. at a point of maturity, the buds open up to reveal a large beautiful flower (only at night, hence the name) and by morning the bud closes up again, which signifies the end of its life, it shrivels up and falls off the Cactus.
Pretty poetic huh?
